As a Senior Strategy Consultant you will be supporting the overall global business and product solution strategy, investment prioritization across product lines and market segment strategy across all business units of RealPage. These aligned efforts create the foundation required to guide our global organization around a clear set of priorities. This is a high visibility position where you will often be interacting with senior leaders of the company. We are looking for candidates with strong analytical skills combined with the ability to communicate complex topics visually, and simply. Prior strategy consulting experience is a plus. Reporting to to VP of Strategy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the market strategy and planning process for our primary markets
- Research and analyze new or existing markets, product lines, and solutions for areas of best fit, profitability, and competitive stance
- Partner with the Strategic Markets leaders to help develop multi-year business and operational plans to drive maximum RealPage technology solution penetration across each market to drive maximum business results
- Lean in to tackle and resolve key areas of strategic unclarity that pose a significant risk to business success and strategy attainment
- Help identify areas of misalignment to the strategy and create corrective action
- Responsible for support to solve the complex challenges, requiring deep thought expertise, complex problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration
- Implement a consistent and cohesive product solution strategy in a highly matrixed and complex environment
- Based on the strategic roadmap, gather data to identify the investment priorities across product lines to ensure maximized revenue growth, market expansion and customer retention
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science and/or Business Administration required, or strong relevant experience
- Master of Business Administration preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience creating strategic business and operational plans for highly complex, fast-growing global Software/Technology companies
- Strategy consulting background preferred
- Experience in the real estate management industry and supporting systems preferred
- Demonstrated passion and depth of understanding of technology solutions
- Proven success developing strategic product and pricing strategies that drive transformational growth
- Strategic thinker who can create and help translate strategy into company-wide operational initiatives
- Top-tier knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and adaptability to learn additional reporting and analysis platforms
- Detailed and process oriented; with ability to work on both strategic and tactical initiatives
- Proven ability to quickly build rapport and credibility with multiple stakeholders across the organization at every level
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to actively listen, influence, negotiate and coach
- Proven project and time management skills with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- This position is highly collaborative, requiring the individual to be great at relationship building to drive support and alignment across the organization
- Work through ambiguous situations, being able to develop frameworks and structures to define problems and construct execution plans that are achievable and pragmatic.
