Do you have exceptional customer service skills with the ability to multitask under pressure? AIS Construction Equipment is looking for a dispatcher to add to its Field Service team in Lansing. As a dispatcher you will:

• Be part of the team responsible for managing incoming job requests (via email and phone calls).
• Create work orders and assign jobs to service technicians based on location, availability, and skillset.
• Assess the urgency of each request based on the customer’s needs and the importance of ensuring our technicians have adequate home time.
• Interact with customers and service technicians, as well as sales, parts and administrative staff within AIS.

Job Requirements:

• Over 18 with a valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Minimum 3 years of experience with dispatching/customer service
• Experience with construction equipment preferred
• Associates degree preferred
• Organized
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Phone etiquette
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
• Patience and ability to assess the urgency of each job
• Must be able to pass drug test and background screening

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
