For nearly 70 years, Hoffman Ford has been serving customers in Harrisburg, PA. We are a family owned dealership that is seeking an additional highly motivated, team-oriented, customer focused, results driven service consultant to join our Service Team. Our Service Department has grown rapidly in the last few years and we need to add additional personnel to our Service team.
This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who wants to grow with a successful and established company. Our service department is consistently one of the top 3 busiest Ford service departments in the entire Philadelphia Region out of over 120+ other Ford Dealers. We have 25+ technicians on our team and 2 Shop Foreman’s with a combined 60+ years of technical expertise to help diagnose and repair vehicles.
We have recently built a brand new facility to enhance our customer experience that is unlike any other dealership in Central PA. We’ve added a 12 vehicle service drive, a retail gift shop for our customers, a customer relaxation room, a fireplace in our customer lounge and other customer-centric amenities.
Job Description
· A Service Advisor/Consultant is our primary point of interaction with the majority of customers that enter our dealership every day.
· Working as a team with your co-workers to ensure we are providing a five-star customer experience to every person that walks through our doors.
· Willingness to assist any customer at any time throughout the day
· Greet each customer in a prompt, courteous manner
· Effectively listen and communicate with service customers to determine the nature of their vehicle issues.
· Advise customers on the needed care and maintenance of their vehicles
· Communicate effectively with your team of Technicians, Parts Team, Service BDC and Valets to make sure that your customer’s vehicles are processed through the shop in a timely & efficient manner to help insure we maintain a high level of customer service.
· Thoroughly review the repairs with the customer after completion and promptly check-out the customer in a professional manner
· Ability to manage approximately 15-20 customers per day and 30-40 incoming phone calls per day
· Trainings and certifications provided by Ford Motor Company

· Previous experience as a service consultant is a huge plus
· Solid Computer / I-Pad skills (experience with CDK DMS system is a plus)
· Must have a valid driver’s license
Hours
· Daily Hours: Monday thru Friday and rotating Saturday schedules
Compensation
· Combination of salary, commission & bonus based on your monthly service gross and customer experience scores
