Tri-State Trailer Sales is seeking a Service Manager to join our team in Lancaster, PA!

We are a full-service semi-trailer dealership including Sales, Rental/Leasing, Service and Parts departments. We have been in business for 36 years, and a leader in the transportation industry.

Prior supervisor/supervisory/management experience in the transportation/heavy equipment field OR automotive field with a focus on maintenance is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and manage the service department
  • Write estimates for customers
  • Managing mechanics and their work in progress
  • Handle customer inquiries and keep them informed on their repairs
  • Provide information about the products and services
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
  • Document and update customer records based on interactions
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and services

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in service management
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask managing daily work activities of semi-trailer mechanics and support staff
  • Positive and professional demeanor with team-player winning attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
