SHIFT MANAGER

FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt

POSITION PURPOSE
The Shift Manager position creates legendary experiences for guests by assisting the
management team in managing shift operations, providing support and coaching to
team members to ensure tasks are performed effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES
? Supervises the operation of the sports bar on a shift-by-shift basis, conducting
effective figure 8s throughout each shift
? Provides support to team members and adds energy to each area of the sports bar
? Coaches team member behaviors
? Interacts with guests in the dining room and the bar, makes personal connections
and seeks specific feedback about their experience
? Conducts pre and post shift meetings
? Diligently follows safety requirements and models behavior that protects them and
others
? Ensures proper food, alcohol and general safety standards are being followed
? Completes all manager tools on time and with integrity
? Properly executes the loyalty program on all shifts
? Manages the balance of labor hours and service efficiency during their shift to meet
labor guidelines without sacrificing guest service
? Supports execution of all sales building initiatives
? Assists other managers with interviewing, training, development and retention of
team members
? Stays current on all federal, state, local and company required training and
certifications
? Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
? General knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation,
responsible alcohol service, safety and security systems and procedures, and
computer operations
? Strong people management and communication and interpersonal skills
? Superior guest service and hospitality skills
? Skill in time management and organization with attention to detail
? Self-motivated and a passion for teaching others
