The Shift Leader is responsible for supporting the General and Assistant Manager in the overall leadership and supervision of the Crew Members. The Shift Leader will be expected to lead crew members by demonstrating Tropical Smoothie Café’s core values in all interactions, comply with the Tropical Smoothie Cafe uniform personal hygiene policies for each shift, train and coach crew members during each shift to ensure brand standards are upheld, use tools to accomplish goals, manage labor, control food inventory, perform any additional tasks necessary to run the café, and can lead a team in a positive, encouraging manner while exceeding company expectations.

Required Experience: Minimum of 1-year restaurant and food experience. Valid driver's license. Willing to undergo a background check during the interview process. Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines. Physical Requirements: Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift. Bending, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds to perform duties like stocking, refilling ice or taking out trash. Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers. Safely navigate in a fast-paced cafe environment. Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions. WORKING CONDITIONS: most shifts are between six to nine hours, but this may vary. Crew Leaders can expect to have some early mornings, late evenings, weekend and/or holiday hours and may have additional opening/closing responsibilities. The shift leader should be knowledgeable and proficient in every position within the café, ensuring a high-quality product in a safe environment is delivered.

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
