The opportunity

Responsible for the accurate completion of all receiving and shipping processes within the distribution center for the assigned shift. All functions must be executed in a timely manner and within budgeted constraints while ensuring the safety of all workers. Position work days and hours: Tuesday-Friday 7 PM - 5 AM

The role

• Establishes goals and communicates expectations to Supervisors, who in turn, prioritize/directs activities and schedules workforce to complete daily requirements in shipping, order processing, and receiving departments.
• Reviews individual and collective performances daily with Supervisors and ensures communications to associates occurs to achieve objectives.
• Monitors workflow, space, and supply constraints, and coordinates resolution with other management as needed.
• Ensures compliance with safety policies/rules and housekeeping standards.
• Performs other duties as requested by management.

What you bring to the role

Knowledge & Expertise

• High school diploma required with Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 to 5 years management/supervisory experience in a high volume, multi-shift distribution center.

Attributes.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Must demonstrate knowledge of a distribution operations environment

• Experience working with WMS systems

• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
