POSITION SUMMARY

The Shipping Associate is responsible for packing/labeling/palletizing and shipping customer orders

This position ensures that all orders are shipped in a complete, accurate and timely basis.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities include:

· Experience with UPS and Fedex shipping systems.

· Experience with LTL carriers - loading/unloading trucks – labeling and stretch wrapping pallets.

· Experience with shipping type paperwork and forms.

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and goals.

· Some rudimentary computer knowledge a must.

· Detail oriented with ability to accurately define requirements.

· Flexibility in hours, able to work additional hours during peak times

· Ability to be cross trained and work in all areas of the D/C as needed.

Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Experience with an automated RF warehouse system with strong mathematical skills

· Attention to detail; ability to prioritize and multi-task in a timely, changing environment

· Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods of time and climb ladders.

· Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

· Flexibility to work various shifts and Overtime around peak time periods is a MUST.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
