We are focused on neurostimulation for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This device stimulates multiple tongue muscles via the hypoglossal nerve, which opens the airway while a patient is sleeping.
Primary Duties:
  • Facilitate the conduct of clinical trials by working with clinical investigators and LivaNova clinical and regulatory personnel in a professional and ethical manner.
  • The training of investigational sites and the execution of the study protocol.
  • Share and collaborate with fellow FCSs and other LivaNova staff.
  • Ensure patient safety to the maximum extent possible by adhering to all applicable regulations, standards and requirements.
  • Perform on-site training for physicians and allied health personnel.
  • Accurately and clearly present technical material to customers in small and large group settings.
  • Perform detailed reporting of product problems.
  • Provide detailed feedback for product improvement for existing products.
  • Provide input into the product development process for future products.
  • Support in-house personnel (engineering, clinical, manufacturing, legal, etc.) as requested to achieve company goals.
  • Interact with physicians and other system users to improve design elements.
  • Develop instructions for use and training materials.
  • Provide technical and surgical support as necessary.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Stay current on relevant scientific publications and clinical evidence.
Required Education & Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and/or an Associates degree in the field of Polysomnography or Neurodiagnostics with no less than 2 years of experience working as an RPSGT in a sleep lab, or currently holding a RPSGT credential with no less than 5 years of experience in a clinical setting in the field of Sleep Medicine.
  • Strong computer skills with experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willing to travel 50-75% and to be available to work one weekend of every month.
  • In-depth knowledge of the AASM Scoring Manual.
