Social Media Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Coordinating with the pool club team for daily operations
- Splitting time between locations in Bayside and Little Neck depending on specific programming
- Generating engaging content for social media, graphics, videos, and blogs
- Capturing photo and video content to contribute to agency summer program social media channels
- Brainstorming marketing campaign ideas for both summer and the offseason
- Researching social media behavior of competitors and similar organizations
- Suggesting and developing ideas for social media marketing including identifying spaces where Commonpoint Queens is not currently present
Requirements
- Interest in Social Media, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
- Familiarity with different social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram
- Photography and Videography experience
- Basic understanding of social media trends
- Highly creative and motivated
- Impressive oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Ability to work collaboratively and willingness to learn new skills
- Comfort spending extensive amounts of time outdoors and in the sun
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Problem-solving ability and listening skills
