ABOUT US: We are an established hospitality brand seeking a seasoned social media curator to enhance our presence online. Our ideal candidate would have a background in food photography/videography or hospitality social media management. We are seeking a candidate to build engagement.
JOB SUMMARY: Our ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining a digital and social media presence. This is a part time/seasonal position with potential for growth. You should have excellent presentation skills, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. You should also be skilled in the use of graphics and design software, as well as in handling administrative duties.
We are seeking a candidate with a portfolio that demonstrates their ability to successfully manage and curate a social media account as well as graphic design capabilities. APPLICANTS WITHOUT A PORTFOLIO WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Please note a portfolio or samples of your capabilities will be required to be considered for this position.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Photograph. video and coordinate materials for online content
- Create marketing materials, ie: social media posts, branded images, print and video advertising
- Curate social media campaigns, branding, developing and managing content on various social media platforms
- Maintain the social content calendar; create timelines, create/distribute/post content, and manage deadlines
- Assist in copywriting when needed
- Monitor social channels and source relevant user generated content
- Build positive relationships with clients and act as a key resource on social best practices
- Identify real-time engagement opportunities discovered via social listening and make impactful recommendations
- Monitor results of social campaigns and compile reports
- Demonstrate an understanding of the social media landscape and how to use social channels to drive brand awareness and engagement
- Able to present in-person and online
- Tech savvy, including: social media, Google apps, Microsoft 365
- Organizing outreach including sales, marketing, and planning, to promote the brand
- Performing administrative duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
- An Associate’s degree or higher in advertising, graphic design, marketing, journalism, public relations, or related field
- 2-3 years' demonstrable experience maintaining a successful social media presence for a brand/person/community
- Strong social media branding knowledge
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Good reporting, technical, and statistical skills
- Laptop/camera and demonstrable skill
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
