A national startup company is seeking an experienced, hands-on, and energetic individual to join its team as a Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager’s job focuses on increasing brand awareness through the effective use of social media outlets.
- Developing social media content plans (Instagram & Facebook) for all locations in our portfolio that are consistent with the company’s brand identity
- Creating consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts, improving engagement, and promoting social media campaigns, both paid and unpaid
- Analyzing the company’s digital marketing plan and social media strategy and identifying strategic weaknesses and making recommendations for improvements
- Researching social media trends and informing management of changes that are relevant to the company’s marketing activities
- Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media campaigns, such as targets for a certain number of shares or likes and measuring a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
- Developing and managing influencer outreach programs and partnerships and attending social influencer events
- Using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook/Instagram Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance
- Preparing monthly analytic reports for all accounts in the company portfolio
- Suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results
- Creating exciting social partnership opportunities to grow brand relevance
- Performing other duties when needed
- Collaborating and creating image content through consumer outreach
- Assist with day to day website management; including merchandising, asset management, content, product setup, categorization and optimization to drive conversion.
- Continuously review website content to ensure information is current, accurate, and relevant.
- Manage projects to ensure they are created, routed, reviewed, and completed on time.
- Create, write, and execute mailchimp mailers and data acquisition
Social Media Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate or agency setting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy
- Experience using content planning, strategy and reporting platforms such as Falcon.io, Planoly, Sprout Social, etc.l
- Experience using various analytics software
- Experience managing content teams in multiple locations is a plus
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- SEO knowledge helpful
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing and able to collaborate on a high level
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.26 per hour
