Software Systems Developer - Direct Hire

What You'll Do:
This Software System Development position supporting manufacturing and customer facing web portal systems, building on existing modules along with creating new functional components within the deployment platform. The position includes working closely with project shareholders to scope, estimate, and provide overall technical leadership to develop and implement software solutions. The position also supports the design, development, and modification of enterprise-wide application systems using languages and platforms including .NET, C#, Java, JSP, JSS, JavaScript, HTML 5, .NET Core, .NET/RestAPI, Blazor, Entity Framework 6, XML, and XSLT. Maintenance and upgrades to existing systems is included in the job duties for this position, along with interfacing with customer, vendor, and management stakeholders. The position requires support for the software quality assurance and software engineering lifecycle including conceptual design, requirements definition, functional and computer system design, systems development and programming, implementation, testing, installation, configuration management, and continuous monitoring appropriate for enterprise-level application software systems.

Core Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with functional and business team members, project management, enterprise architects, system engineers, and application developers to design and develop enterprise applications based on approved architecture and business requirements
• Demonstrate innovation when designing applications and solving complex IT problems
• Provide expertise and leadership for software solutions including architecture, design, requirements analysis, development, quality assurance and implementation
• Effectively scope project subtasks into scheduled work units
• Ensure solutions are well-engineered, operable, and maintainable while also ensuring adherence to defined project management policies, change management guidelines, and quality assurance processes
• Work with IT project management to deliver solutions on schedule and within budget
