The Microsoft Search in Bing Team is looking for a developer with a passion for building large scale web services and state of the art web applications. Responsibilities
- Design and develop large scale distributed software services and solutions in collaboration with teammates.
- Take end-to-end responsibility for the development, quality, testing, and production readiness of the services you build.
- Constantly improve our live site with monitoring and automation
- Modularize components for use across Microsoft 365
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of experience developing distributed web service applications with highly concurrent server-side code
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience creating, releasing, and evolving large commercial software components or products at scale.
- 1+ years of experience in programming in C#.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and online services
Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
