Hominy Southern Kitchen is the newest restaurant in mid valley. The menu will feature Southern cuisine using the finest local and seasonal ingredients. Our small, family owned and run, restaurant has a dedication to great food and hospitality and we’re seeking members with the same vision to join and grow with our team. We are seeking happy people who love food, other people, and the outdoors, as much as we do, to bring positive vibes to every service.

We are looking to fill a few more BOH positions. We are in search of a sous chef & pastry chef. We hope to find someone who shares our vision of great food and awesome hospitality, someone who will want to grow and develop with us as a new restaurant.

Sous Chef & Pastry Chef Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience working in a fast pace, high demand kitchen.

All candidates (foh & boh) should also possess a warm, gregarious, and hospitable demeanor. Candidates should also possess the following skills, but should not be restricted to:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills during high volume and high-pressure settings

· Must be able to maintain tact and cool under pressure

· Ability to take initiative

· Professional appearance and demeanor

· Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
