Timber Pines will bring the finest in senior housing and care. This charming and rustic community will be located near I-35 and local businesses.
Timber Pines managed by Walker Methodist seeks a talented Sous Chef to prepare high quality meals according to therapeutic diets. The Sous Chef is responsible for menu planning, high quality food prep, ala carte service, presentation and staff supervision.

Full-time
Minimum qualifications:
- Excel in casual dining, fine dining, country club and banquet style cooking skills
- Extensive scratch cooking experience
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts preferred
- Three years of experience as a supervisor in the food industry, specifically in senior living or long-term care environment
- ServSafe certification
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Pleasant, tactful, respectful and professional with residents, family members, healthcare staff and co-workers
