Job description

Assist the Spanish immersion kindergarten teacher or other licensed staff in maintaining appropriate activities and environment and/or implementing prescribed activities in order that students may learn effectively.

Terms of Employment:
1. In accordance with the Wayland Educational Secretaries’ Association contract;
2.Ten months (school year) plus five days; 29.25 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma required;
2. Bachelor’s degree preferred;
3. Previous experience in working with kindergarten-age children preferred;
4. Fluent (native or near native proficiency) in Spanish;
5. Experience with diverse populations and commitment to Wayland’s goals of diversity and inclusion;
6. Possess those personal characteristics and professional competencies necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.14 - $27.10 per hour
