Special Events and Retreat Manager
Job description
The Special Events and Retreat Manager will work closely with the Marketing Director to implement the organization’s community relations initiatives through events and outreach.
Specific Responsibilities
- Coordinates special events, including budget recommendations, monitoring and tracking of budgets for events, sponsor and event solicitation, site coordination, coordination of reservations and table sponsors, volunteer coordination, donor/attendee recognition, coordination of publicity materials and invitations, coordination of vendor contracts and invoices and coordination of fulfillment of sponsor benefits.
- Provide assistance to third-party event organizers. Represent The Barton Center programs at conferences, fairs, and other events.
- Performs effective evaluation of events, coordinates post-event surveys and reports.
- Create, implement and evaluate events
- Volunteer recruitment.
- Supports activities of the organization.
- Serve as backup to the Camp Registrar/Office Manager (phones, mail, etc.)
- Participates in speaking engagements, awareness fairs, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
