SPEECH PATHOLOGY

The Guild for Exceptional Children, The Carrie Mastronardi Center preschool is currently seeking a part-time Clinical Fellowship for Speech Pathology or Speech Language Pathologist. Our preschool is fully licensed by the NYS Education Department and the NYS Department of Health. The main focus is to assist families with the many challenges they face in nurturing a child with special needs. We offer a full range of educational and community-based support services for children ages 2 1/2 - 5 years with developmental disabilities. Our preschool provides an environment where children with disabilities are able to develop to their fullest potential and prepare for richer fuller lives. The preschool is also open to typically developing children from the surrounding community.

Fellowship/Speech Language Pathology (CF/SLP)

We are seeking a Clinical Fellow looking to join GEC’s special education preschool. Candidate will be under the supervision of an ASHA-certified and state-licensed Speech Language Pathologist. Clinical Fellows will screen, diagnose and provide treatment to preschoolers from 3-5 years old with communication delays.

Qualified candidates will possess a Master’s Degree in a speech pathology and be CF eligible. TSSLD/TSHH

Responsibilities and Duties:

Speech Language Pathologist working with children 2 1/2 -5 years old.

Clinical Fellowship

NYS TSSLD/TSHH

Speech Pathology Master's Degree

Full time (5) days per week in person

Part Time flexible 2-3 days per week
