Our client is looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and compassionate Speech Pathologist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients in a personal way and will work closely with the team at our medical facility to create a better experience for our patients. The Speech Pathologist will provide brief counseling, speech therapy, assessments and treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. The correct candidate will have experience in coordinating with hospital administration, physicians and other medical professionals to provide the highest quality service. This is a full-time position located in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, treatment, and speech therapy to patients who have a variety of speech, language, cognitive, social-behavioral, and swallowing disorders.
• Identify symptoms, formulate a diagnosis, and render a treatment plan.
• Create and administer appropriate therapy based on assessment findings.
• Communicate with other healthcare professionals regarding patient's care and progress.
• Provide support to patients and their caretakers in dealing with the emotional effects of the disorder.
• Make recommendations for community resources.
