Job Title: Speech Therapist In Hyattsville, MD

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Speech Therapist to join our team in Hyattsville, MD. As a Speech Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages to diagnose and treat communication and swallowing disorders. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Evaluate patients’ communication and swallowing abilities, including receptive and expressive language, articulation, fluency, and voice disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ communication and swallowing abilities
• Provide therapy services to individuals and groups using various techniques and tools
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on communication and swallowing disorders and strategies to improve communication and swallowing
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in the state of Maryland
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Basic computer skills
