Role: SQL Developer

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 1 year

Type : W2

Description:
Works with the CIO team, management, business heads, functions and IT. Focus on business requirements, user experience and performance to build, support and maintain, and scale an architecture which will support the ongoing growth.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creates and supports SQL SSIS packages for ETL and other automated processes.
  • Designs and codes database tables to store data. Creates table indices to improve performance. Program views, stored procedures, and functions/triggers.
  • Authors queries used for reporting and downstream data processes.
  • Reviews query/job performance and optimizes code/configurations where needed. Supports and troubleshoots job failures with IT.
  • Administers and documents data dictionaries, requirements, specifications, data models and topology aides and flow diagrams.
  • Design future state processes and architecture working within a team and interface with the business lines and functions.
  • Participate in the integration process with other enterprise systems or other applications as opportunities arise. Works with IT to ensure end to end processes are aligned.
  • Work with management to identify new and creative opportunities to leverage ARGOS to support additional business processes or functions.

To be successful, your background should match these qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) from four-year college or university and three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelors' degree or higher in Information Technology/Computer Science (or relevant degree)
  • Financial Services/ Commercial lending experience (5 years) preferred
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Visual Studio, and SQL Integration Services required. Knowledge of commercial lending and banking practices. Knowledge of cloud applications, networking concepts, SDLC, and change control.
  • Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Visual Studio, Transact SQL, Tableau, BitBucket, RedGate. Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite, ServiceNow, JIRA.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills. Relational database and Master data management/quality/lineage expertise

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $36.15 - $71.87 per hour
