We are currently seeking a Sr. Business Process Analyst to join our Business Process team within Operations Strategic Support. The Business Process team provides process analysis and improvement solutions; utilizing technology enablers like LiquidOffice and DocuSign to build custom applications that automate the enterprise’s core processes. As a Senior Business Process Analyst, you will be responsible for business process analysis, business analysis, leadership, quality assurance and project execution.

Your role as a Sr. Business Process Analyst will involve:

Business Process Analysis

  • Conduct process discovery and elaboration workshops to document current state processes
  • Leverage six sigma methodologies, like DMAIC, to facilitate process improvements
  • Perform business process gap analysis to meet business unit’s desired outcomes
  • Lead Business Process Reengineering efforts to improve quality; reduce costs and cycle time
  • Model future state business processes using the BPMN 2.0 analytical method with some assistance

Business Analysis

  • Consistently perform requirements elicitation techniques including workshops, interviews, and surveys
  • Collaborate on creative process solutions to client problems that enhance user experiences (UX)
  • Create user stories to meet the project goals and objectives
  • Facilitate regular product demonstrations to solicit feedback from multiple stakeholders

Leadership

  • Ability to lead with influence without formal organizational authority
  • Confidently inspires and motivates team through effective thought leadership
  • Be an active team member within a community of practice environment
  • Provide recommendations based on enterprise transformation best practices
  • Become involved in opportunities to serve in leadership roles

Relationship Management

  • Develop strong partnerships with team, functional peers, sponsors and multiple stakeholders
  • Effectively manage expectations of project sponsors and committees

Quality Assurance

  • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans based on user story acceptance criteria
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with a cross-functional project team

What we look for:
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience and a proven track record of delivering substantial business results. Experience should cover areas of process analysis, business analysis, and project management.
  • BBA/BS in Management Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or Finance is preferred.
  • Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP), and/or lean six sigma certification preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and Decision Modeling Notation (DMN).
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to perform complex problem solving.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills leading to trusting relationships with business partners and their leadership team.
  • Demonstrated relationship builder; able to establish both internal and external working relationships in order to identify and implement strategies for business growth.
  • Change agent who is able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment and with associates at all levels and in all areas of the firm.
  • Thorough working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint and Visio.
