RDA is hiring a Sr. Sitecore Software Engineer with experience using the Sitecore Content Management System. As a certified Sitecore Implementation and Optimization Partner since 2011 and with roots in technology since 1988, RDA provides consulting expertise in Cloud and Application Modernization, and Commerce Storefronts and Marketplaces.
This is a regular W2 employment position. RDA is headquartered in Maryland but this employee can work from home on East Coast hours anywhere in the US except for CA.
Sr. Sitecore Software Engineer Responsibilities:

• Help define, develop and deploy leading-edge composable DXP solutions, primarily utilizing Microsoft tools, Sitecore, and eCommerce sites.
• Interact with client stakeholders from business, data, application, and technology groups, primarily in the commercial sector and across a wide variety of industries, to include manufacturing, financial services and retail.
• Create advanced customizations to components and templates in Sitecore that align with the enterprise digital strategy.
• Serve as a full stack Engineer, working with user-interface, database and services utilizing Sitecore, C#.NET, React/Node.js and employing Microservices Architectures
• Assist with third party integrations and deployment services in Azure/cloud environments utilizing Containers and Kubernetes technology.
• Support Agile Scrum teams by estimating project activities, participating in code reviews and mentoring less senior Engineers (projects vary greatly but average 3-8 resources for a duration of 3-12 months).
• Exhibit key RDA value of continuous learning by achieving Sitecore, Cloud and other certifications (bonuses apply); participating in frequent RDA tech talks; and, leveraging LinkedIn Learning and Visual Studio Enterprise subscriptions.
• Note a Sr. Sitecore Software Engineer with skills and interest in leadership may occasionally have opportunities to serve as a Team Lead with some management duties over a module or portion of RDAs larger client project

• Architect and develop an Azure event-driven design to manage the import of vendor product information into ContentHub through ContentHub’s headless API
• Build a virtual conference platform in Sitecore that enables the hosting conventions to showcase products with keynote presentations, live demos, and Q&A
• Implement Sitecore headless with a web front-end, built upon React with microservices architecture running in Azure

S*r*. Sitecore Software Engineer Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of demonstrated development experience with Sitecore (9+), .NET, and Modern UI technologies
• Strong experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodologies required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field) preferred
• Nice to haves but not required experience includes eCommerce, Sitecore SXA, Sitecore xConnect, Helix principles, Sitecore source control (TDS/Unicorn/CLI), Sitecore Upgrades, and/or Azure development experience
