Job Description
Job duties include but not limited to excel based monthly operational reporting, full cycle accounting including month end closings, construction draws, cash management, coordination of audit and tax returns, ad hoc projects and financial analysis. The role will report directly to the CFO.

Rivergate invests its own capital alongside the firms relationships with high net worth, foreign, family office and institutional investors.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree preferred in accounting
• 3 - 5 years of prior staff accounting experience in the real estate development industry
• Advanced excel knowledge
• Ability to prepare excel based cash flows and operational reporting
• Prior real estate accounting and reporting required
• Prior construction draw preparation preferred
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
• Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented
• Ability to interact with team members and gather information in a timely manner
• Good communication and written skills.
