Job Function:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for financial and cost accounting activities for the company including, transaction review, monthly closings, reporting and analysis, and cost elements. This person will provide support for other departments utilizing financial information for the development and improvement of accounting functions and business processes related to the accounts function.

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate with Operations to identify and address reporting issues.

· Reconcile WIP for closed work orders, including sending jobs to history.

· Responsible for review and maintenance of cost elements, including direct labor
and overhead rates

· Reconciliation of monthly inventory accounts.

· Develops and implements the inventory cycle count process.

· Provides financial information to the leadership team to assist in decision making and control of Company operations.

· Provide general ledger support for stakeholders, including account review and
analysis.

· Preparation of month-end financial package.

· Responsible for month and year end closure process.

· Monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts

· Support with year-end audit.

· Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable and support when needed.

· Review and process transactions between two ERP systems with company
elimination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
