Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled bookkeeper to join our firm in our Jacksonville office. Exceptional work environment with opportunities for career advancement. In this position, you will assist our growing firm with client accounting, payroll, and administrative duties. You will post information to accounting journals/software and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy. A great attitude and willingness to learn is a must.
Responsibilities
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage
- Perform partial checks of the posting process
- Enter data, maintain records
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
- Process payroll checks, tax payments, and file payroll tax forms.
Requirements
- 3 Years of proven bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
- Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent QuickBooks skills
- Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Experience with AccountingCS, UltraTaxCS, PracticeCS is a plus.

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
