Job Description: Staff Accompanist, Instrumental and Vocal Repertory

Status: Part-time (~5 hours/week, Sept 12 to May 14)

Reports to: Accompanying Coordinator

The staff harpsichordist, under supervision of the Accompanying Coordinator, works as accompanist for the Historical Performance Department, which includes art song, opera, sonate, concerti, and other repertoire as needed. The staff harpsichordist must have fluent continuo skills.

Responsibilities

• Accompany weekly studio lessons, classes, and seminars
• Collaborate with students on departmental/degree recitals, juries, auditions, and competitions, as arranged with students
