Job description
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides skilled care to patients assigned to a specific patient care unit, under the supervision of a RN. Supports the patient care process by collecting data for assessments and care planning, and by reinforcing patient/family education and other discharge planning and instructions, as delegated and supervised by a RN.
EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Required:
- Graduate of an approved program for Practical Nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in NC.
- BLS certification required; renewal required biannually.
Location: UNC Health Southeastern ยท CLINICAL DECISION 5TH FLOOR NORTH
Schedule: PRN- No Benefits, Days / rotating weekends, 7AM TO 7PM
