The Opportunity
As Stock Specialist, you must be, reliable and have general repair experience with electrical systems/equipment. The Specialist will build all necessary lighting suspension and maintenance, such as bulb replacement, while also performing all other stock room functions, including receiving and checking in all new shipments and transfers. Assist the Store and Operations Managers in ensuring the accuracy of the store inventory.

Perform a variety of operational activities which include processing, labeling and assembly of merchandise. Ensure inventory control and accuracy by following proper procedures and best practice.

- Deliver excellent customer service by encouraging an environment that is, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient for customers and co-workers
- You will have customer interaction, one-on-one and team settings.
- Collaborate with the management team and peers to achieve the goals of the store and Ballard Designs.
- Contribute in all aspects of store maintenance and help maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- You will work collaboratively on floorsets and replenishment of inventory to create an extraordinary guest experience.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- 1 or more years of shipping and receiving or stock room experience.
- Must have a eye for details.
- Mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Lift and mobilize medium to large items up to 75lbs.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
