Starting Pay: Around $16.50 per hour.

• Starting pay mainly depends on work experience.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm, Day Shift

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities for the Store Associate:

This position will report to the Operational Leader and shall act in both a sales and a sales support capacity. Store Associates must work with TMO’s outside sales reps, walk-in (over-the-counter) customers, vendors and co-workers to profitably grow the business.

• Assist the location sales representative(s) with sales and customer service duties.
• Promptly answer and fulfill orders for walk-in (over-the-counter) customers.
• Assemble hydraulic hose assemblies to over the counter customer specifications
• Promptly answer and respond to incoming phone calls from customers and vendors.
• Seek to understand customer relationships in order to recognize, and take advantage of, opportunities to grow the business, while improving internal processes.
• Effectively process orders and quotes.
• Conscientiously update and organize customer files and contracts.
• Work with location sales representative(s) to efficiently manage delivery times.
• Maintain customer accounts and efficiently process customer and vender returns and credits.
• Support continuous improvement and quality objectives.

Qualifications for the Store Associate:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer Service experience.
• Good decision-making abilities.
• Excellent computer skills required.
• Ability to effectively communicate to top management and other employees of the organization.
• Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent customer communication.
• Sense of urgency in fast paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Interacting with employees, suppliers, or customers to meet position and business requirements.
• Requires ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
• A majority of the time is spent working in an office environment.
• Ability to apply general pricing and math knowledge.
• Using a keyboard to enter, retrieve or transform words or data.
