We have an opening for a Strategic Partnerships Director/Senior Manager whose main responsibility will be developing and growing new and existing partners within our Hospitality Cloud division. In this role, you will be charged with identifying and growing existing value from integration/partner agreements, establishing referral and reseller partnerships, enabling partners and identifying ways to expand relationships across the Cvent platform. You will be helping build this function within the Hospitality Cloud division, so an entrepreneurial, creative mindset is a must. You will build a playbook for success in order to build a business case to grow the team. You are organized and adept at managing external as well as internal stakeholders across Sales, Product, Marketing and Client Services to meet timelines and goals.

In This Role, You Will::
  • Identify and pursue new partner opportunities (such as hotel and venue sales & catering platforms, CRS/PMS providers, hospitality content providers)
  • Expand or formalize agreements with existing partners, optimizing referral, reseller or revenue share partnerships
  • Develop business plans, financial projections, differentiated positioning and GTM roll-out plans to enable success with key partners
  • Understand Cvent’s full suite of products, and navigate relationships with partners who may have business units that both complement and compete with various Cvent tools
  • Demonstrate product functionality (with the support of Product team members and Solutions Consultants) and value proposition to potential and existing partners, in a simple and concise way that can be easily cascaded internally or to their customer base
  • Effectively and accurately manager personal revenue pipeline, as well as facilitating educational webinars, endorsement campaigns, and partner marketing initiatives to maximize overall value of the partner relationship
  • Work with Sales to ensure partner referrals are followed up with in a timely manner
  • Work with Client Services and Technology teams to ensure integrations are well supported, partners and their customers are satisfied
  • Use salesforce.com, tableau and other dashboards to monitor value from partner relationships, identify areas of improvement and conduct strategic reviews, internally and externally
  • Actively solicit feedback and implement strategies to better optimize partner relationships
  • Effectively and accurately manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize all business opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Here's What You Need::
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience working with partnerships and multi-channel sales organizations
  • 10+ years of experience in Partnerships Strategy, Account Management, or Direct Sales or other partner-facing, revenue-generating roles (more is welcomed)
  • Experience building teams and people management is a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include relationship management, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Relevant experience might include selling Hospitality Technology, PMS/CRS/Sales & Catering platforms, API-based technology, Travel or Meeting Planning Services
  • Ability to work with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.com or similar contact management software
  • Experience working in the Hospitality or Event Management industry is an advantage
