This Strategic Sourcing Specialist is an entry level position that will help procure services and supplies at PPG’s Aerospace division in Avon Massachusetts! The Strategic Sourcing Specialist sources and procures services and supplies. This is a great entry-level position that provides a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in procurement and supply chain management within the Aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Issues purchase orders on behalf of PPG for services and supplies.
- Ensure a consistent implementation of PPG Procurement strategies and policies.
- Drives compliance to chosen suppliers and contracted terms and conditions.
- Ensures that the agreed upon conditions negotiated between the Global/Regional Category Managers and the suppliers are implemented completely and accurately.
- Manage late purchase orders.
- Act as the indirect purchase liaison between site requestors and external suppliers.
- Effectively negotiates purchases by applying effective strategic sourcing practices.
- Responsible for ensuring a consistent implementation of PPG procurement strategies and policies.
Qualifications:
- Six months to one year (6mo - 1yr) of experience in procurement required.
- Bachelor’s degree in related technical field preferred.
- One (1) years Aerospace procurement experience preferred.
- Must be able to effectively read, write, and communicate in English.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
