JOB OVERVIEW

Conduct housekeeping and laundry operation to ensure quality standards are met while delivering a guest experience that is unique and brings the brand to life.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures.

- Distribute linen, towels, and room supplies using wheeled carts.

- Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies.

- Replace dirty linens with clean items.

- Store all dirty laundry in line with company policy.

- Replace guest laundry bags and slips.

- Check all appliances in rooms and report problems to Maintenance.

- Realign furniture and amenities according to brand standard.

- Respond to guest queries and requests.

- Respond to call for housekeeping items in a timely manner.

- Remove room service items to elevator landings.

- Organize and restock the housekeeping cart at the end of the shift.

- Follow all company, state, and federal safety and security procedures.

- Observe and report any damage to hotel property.

- Sort, wash, load and unload laundry as needed.

- Sort, fold and put away clean laundry as needed.

- Operate mechanized cleaning equipment as needed.

- Adheres to all Hilton brand standards.

ACCOUNTABILITY

The position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

- Able to listen and follow instructions.

- Able to work unsupervised.

- Able to maintain a professional manner at all times including being in uniform with name tag.

- Maintains a positive attitude towards guests and coworkers.

- Demonstrates attention to detail and thoroughness.

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred

- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods.

- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials.

- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach bend and kneel.

- Ability to lift, push, and pull required load (usually up to 30 lbs)
