Job description
The Argo Terminal is seeking two individuals for temporary summer employment. This position is for temporary summer help and benefits are not included.
Work duties may include:
- Assist employees in carying out various operational work assignments (clean-up, paint, grounds keeping)
- Learn the proper use of tools for various jobs within the terminal
- Handle materials, supplies and equipment needed to complete work orders
- Follow all Company policies and apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Education:
Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Willing to learn and gain basic construction and tools knowledge
- Willing to get dirty getting hands-on expereince in the terminal
- Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Able to lift 25 lbs
- Ability to traverse on uneave terrain
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, often for long periods of time
- Working outdoors in various weather conditions
- May include heights (stairs, platforms, ladders, etc.)
- Company will provide proper safety gear and personal protective equipment
