LMI Landscapes, Inc. is a fast growing and highly respected commercial landscape and irrigation contractor, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, and with offices in Denver and Austin.

We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape Superintendent for our Dallas, Texas location. This position will be a critical leader, working closely with both our clients and leading our construction crews. An ideal candidate will also provide the necessary direction and training for our crews, optimizing production and delivering quality work to our customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously while maintaining consistently high levels of quality and delivering within the agreed upon project deadlines
  • Delivering on projected profit margins on a project-by-project basis; optimizing wherever possible to improve margins
  • Address in-field and in-office issues with crews and other stakeholders, mitigating problems ahead of time whenever possible
  • Serve as one of the main points of contact for the customer on project installation planning, execution, and completion/handover
  • Oversee the requisition of materials for all landscape field operations, working closely with LMI’s Head of Purchasing; plan for and communicate about the need for additional equipment, material, and personnel needs to the necessary parties involved
  • Assist LMI’s Head of Construction with project scheduling in order to maintain a steady cadence in project execution

  • This position reports to LMI’s Head of Construction

Requirements:

  • Tireless work ethic - willing to put in the effort when required to get a project over the finish line
  • Coachable and trainable – always wanting to learn more
  • Proficient at analyzing and improving construction plans
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and customer management skills; willing and able to serve as an advocate for the customer
  • Ability to operate construction equipment when necessary
  • Proficient with Windows OS and Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of a two or four-year degree in a landscape related field or equivalent experience as demonstrated through licensure and certificates
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
