Your Job Requirements:
- 10 years work experience and 2 years experience in a Healthcare facility setting REQUIRED
- Working knowledge of boilers, HVAC systems, electrical power generation and distribution equipment and systems, refrigeration systems, medical gas systems, and fire alarm and signaling systems.
- Proficient in all building systems
- Capable of leading and directing assigned personnel in professional, enthusiastic, positive and cost-effective manners
- Capable of developing and implementing administrative and organizational procedures

- Assumes operational responsibility of the department in the absence of the Director
- Monitors and facilitates the work of outside contractors performing repairs and/or installations at Methodist Health System facilities.
- Plans projects through meetings with customer departments, Architects, Physical Plant
- Responsible for completion of projects in a timely manner in compliance with appropriate state, federal, and local codes and standards.
- Responsible for completion of reports and documentation of required testing of various systems.
- Responsible for performance evaluations
- Responsible for work schedules for maintenance personnel
- Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of Physical Plant personnel to ensure the completion of repair and preventative maintenance work orders.
