Responsibilities:
Lead 24/7 Team to make in-spec product per production schedule while embracing the 4 manufacturing core principles:
- Avoiding harm to people or environment
- Providing the right quality
- Maintain equipment reliability
- Develop and engage the 24/7 team
- Provide guidance and set priorities to achieve the production schedule and 4 core principles
- Review process, product, equipment related data critical to achieve SQRE plan
- Short and mid term resource planning taking into account: resource need per production schedule, absenteeism.
- Develop people regarding their key abilities and attributes
- Provide timely and meaningful performance feedback to all team members
- Follow up on issues from the previous shifts
- Communicate information from the core team (ex. tool box briefing, etc.)
- Perform proper handover to the next Team Captain and Daily Executional Leader on emerging Quality, Environmental, or Reliability issues.
- Coordinates SOP updates with Learning Facilitator
- Coordinates team member participation and participates in MOC, PHA, RCA etc. Sessions
- Identifies when training is needed/required for 24/7 team and ensures opportunities are available for team members to obtain the knowledge
- Ensure compliance to Environmental and Safety regulatory requirements
- Work with Process Expert and Manufacturing Expert to improve unit performance.
- Process Safety Officer for 24/7 Team
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Experience leading through influence and inspring team engagement
- 3 years of manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Ability to learn technology of process, product and equipment capacity
- Ability to learn production schedule, production capabilities, and reliability requirements
- Ability to learn raw material and chemical usages and efficiencies of the unit.
- Identifies emerging supply issues
- Interface with leadership team
