Supply Chain Planner you will be challenged with the task of analyzing inventory levels and historical sales data to calculate future demand based on sales trajectories and market research. You will work closely with the Operations team to drive accurate forecasting for product launches and daily business demand. The demand planner is responsible for managing other daily tasks as they relate to inventory planning. These tasks could include placing purchase orders to vendors, data entry into our in-house ERP system, logistics tasks, and warehouse communications. The supply chain planner is the key role that ensures product is always ready for customer orders. You will help maximize our profitability by minimizing our out of stocks.

Job responsibilities

• Forecast anticipated growth through analysis of historical trends and by evaluating future growth projections
• Efficiently manage distribution of product inventory- including purchase orders to vendors, shipment tracking, and warehouse communications
• Capture data, conduct analysis and develop recommendations for solutions for inbound logistics, transportation, brokerage, and distribution activities worldwide
• Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method and approach
• Interact with Sales, Brand, Marketing and Finance teams to understand demand forecast drivers and closely communicate demand changes to Operations
• Make recommended adjustments to forecast based on changes in demand and market trends

Job Requirements

• B.S. in Supply Chain Management or related degree
• 2-4 years of experience in Demand Planning
• Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication
• Must be detail oriented, self-starter and comfortable taking initiative, as well as capable of producing high quality results on a sustainable basis
• Demonstrates ability to effectively influence both internal and external customers/relationships
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to organize work and manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines in an agile environment
• Excellent customer service / support skills, ability to work well under pressure, professional demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills
• Advanced skillset with MS Excel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
