What are you going to do?

You are responsible for maintaining a sufficient inventory position that ensures timely delivery of high-quality product according to the sales budget, with an efficient procurement process and minimizing inventory write offs.

• Review monthly existing stock and estimate future inventory levels relating to the updated forecasts, bookings/contracts, and pending sales orders, while minimizing inventory write offs.

• Coordinate and prioritize batches for quality testing and processing based on available stock.

• Timely placement of intercompany transfer orders ensuring inventory is available to meet forecasted sales.

• Ensure documentation of transfer orders are meeting Import requirements.

• Monitor status of all outstanding transfer orders and follow up as necessary.

• Execute export documentation requirements for shipments of goods originating in the US to destinations globally.

• Monthly preparation of germination update report to ensure germ information remains current.

• Coordinate with Customer Service, Warehousing, Accounting and Sales departments to ensure the smooth handling of customer orders.

• Other duties as assigned.

Your power

• 
  3+ years in Supply Chain, seed industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent required.
• Professional, assertive, and clear communication skills (verbal and written).
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Computer proficiency with the ability to learn new applications quickly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Pivot, Macros, Outlook, Teams)
• Prior experience and working knowledge of seed industry desirable but not required.
• You have a valid driver’s license
