Supply Chain Specialist

As a Supply Chain Specialist and part of the Nordex International Services North America Team, you will be responsible for all material, tooling and equipment logistics for the rotor blade repairs in the field for North America. This is achieved while using the latest repair technology based on profound trainings, the collaboration with the Blade Service & Composites team and always an eye for safety.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Blades Repair team to manage all material deliveries on wind farm sites Schedule and coordinate blade project shipments to North America
- Ensure the right tooling and equipment are on site for repairs or construction as required
- Organize tooling and equipment repairs as well as yearly maintenance
- Order and ensure safety and availability of tooling equipment inventory
- Organize local materials inventories and tooling
- Responsible for inventory management
Direct Reports: This position reports directly tothe Blade Repair Manager and does not have any direct reports
Requirements:
a) Competencies/Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong logistical aptitude of USA for transportation of special tools and materials
- Detail oriented and ability to collaborate across teams to ensure deliverables are managed
- Persistent and committed to on time delivery
- Fast reaction for urgent requirements at all stages of the project(s)
- High level of supplier and customer interaction required
- Experienced in MS Office
- Basic knowledge in MS Power BI
- Basic knowledge of SAP
- English (fluent)
- Spanish (working proficiency)
- Portuguese (would be a plus)
b) Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, business administration (preferred)
- 5+ years Supply Chain
- 1 year Blades Repair/Tooling (preferred)
c) Experience:
- Experience with rotor blade repairs material or similar chemicals
- Related studies or comparable assimilated knowledge through experience
- Experience in handling and storage of hazardous substances
- Experience for the safe transport of hazardous substances by land, sea and air
d) Other Condition:
- Ability to travel (25-50% of the time)
- Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $47,001.00 per year
