Job Summary and Qualifications

The Surgical Aide PRN stocks and organizes supplies, maintains adequate equipment in the surgical suites, provides for patient safety while transporting patients and provides daily cleaning of the Operating Room

• You will safely assist in the positioning of surgical patients.
• You will operate, maintain, and store all equipment in a knowledgeable, safe and efficient manner.
• Demonstrate flexibility in unit to perform other tasks that may be assigned.
• You will appropriately handle all trash, regulated medical waste, and soiled linens within the department

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dat
• On the job training.
• Nursing Assistant training is preferred or six months experience as nursing assistant.
