The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, networking, and the full cycle recruitment process of Restaurant Managers and Chefs in multiple regions. You support the continued growth of Lazy Dog’s talent acquisition initiatives while promoting Lazy Dog’s values throughout all social media channels.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full cycle recruitment of management from posting jobs, sourcing, interviewing, and candidate selection.
  • Partner with Regional Directors to implement recruiting strategies for targeted open positions.
  • Ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates for open positions utilizing behavioral interviewing techniques in accordance with Lazy Dog’s Standards.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Manager and Director of People to ensure alignment with Lazy Dog’s values and goals while creating comprehensive plans for filling the management pipeline.
  • Oversee pre-hire and post-offer activity to include but not limited to assessment testing, reference, and background checks, offer letters, and Bio announcements while ensuring compliance with all state and government agencies.
  • Enjoy building pipeline sources by attending career fairs, contacting colleges/universities, social media career boards.
  • Effectively demonstrate sourcing ability on major job boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Manage the ATS system through the recruitment portal.
  • Stay current with hospitality recruiting industry trends and social media channels.
  • Consistently utilize talent pool to minimize cost per hire.
  • Analyze and update recruiting data and Key Performance Indicators for the talent acquisition department.
  • Know your geographical region and can offer solutions when facing low candidate flow in your region.
  • Clear sense of urgency to fill positions without sacrificing Lazy Dog’s Standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or related experience in Hospitality Management.
  • Three to five years of full cycle recruiting experience in hospitality, agency, or retail.
  • Strong communication skills to include verbal, listening, reading and writing.
  • Ability to comprehend and utilize common restaurant operations terminology, both verbal and written, to comprehend the operational skills required and to communicate Lazy Dog’s values and goals.
  • Remain current by participating in workshop opportunities, reading industry publications, maintaining networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Strong presentation skills to include one-on-one and small groups.
  • Ability to effectively interact with internal and external candidates.
  • Established decision making skills with the proven ability to build relationships and influence others in a whistle while you work environment.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Identify priorities, demonstrate initiative, and have the ability to work independently.
  • You use logic to define problems, collect information, establish facts, and interpret information while relaying it verbally or in written form.
  • Working knowledge of ATS systems; including but not limited to UKG and Ceridian.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Experience

Required
  • 3 year(s): full cycle recruiting experience in hospitality, agency, or retail. Strong communication skills to include verbal, listening, reading and writing.

Education

Preferred
  • Bachelors or better in Hospitality and Resort Management or related field
