The Talent Acquisition department is looking for a dynamic team member to fill the Talent Acquisition Specialist position for the Specialty Packaging Region. This position will be located in the Louisville, KY market (close to our New Albany, IN plant) with travel to the other plants in this group, mainly in the Midwest United States. This role is responsible for the full lifecycle recruitment of high-volume positions. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for hourly and salaried manufacturing positions.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

• Drive focused candidate searches through targeted channels
• Deploy talent acquisition strategies for hourly and high-volume salaried recruiting initiatives
• Support a positive candidate experience through best in class recruiting measures
• Maintain communication with hiring teams and candidates throughout the hiring process, and closeout the candidate process in a timely manner

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.
• Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.
• Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Advanced Degree and/or certifications considered but not required.

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

• Prior experiences must demonstrate initiative, strong problem-solving skills, success managing multiple priorities, and working well in a team under deadline pressure.
• 2 years of recruitment experience sourcing candidates for roles in the manufacturing industry.
• 2 years of experience working with applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors preferred)
• Experience utilizing key metrics to optimize the internal and external recruiting processes
• Experience generating candidates from a variety of channels including applicant tracking systems, job boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
