Talent Acquisition Specialist
sweetgreen's People team is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our growing markets with hourly hiring! This role can be based in any one of our Central or North East markets.
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will serve as the hiring support for your respective market helping to find the most talented team members to begin a career at sweetgreen. You will provide on the ground support to bring our hourly recruitment strategy to life. This means you strategically build relationships, and enjoy getting creative to find the best people in your area. Your role is critical to fueling the growth of our company by identifying hourly talent to join our team.
What You'll Lead (Essential Functions of the Role)
- Community Partnerships + Relations. Build, and own community, culinary, youth, military and campus recruiting programs that drive traffic to the talent funnel by market.
- ATS + Job Marketing. Track and measure candidate flow by allocating resources to drive candidates to open roles.
- New Restaurant Openings + High-Priority Restaurants. Support Leadership Recruiters as they partner with field operators to ensure candidate flow and NRO readiness.
- Hiring Event Coordination. As directed by the Field Leadership Recruiter they schedule, advertise and coordinate events to achieve maximum applicant flow.
- Special Projects. As determined by market needs they will do research [ex. compensation analysis support] or upcoming NROs and other projects necessary.
Talent Planning
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Leadership Recruiters, Area Leaders and Head Coaches to understand their unique needs and/or challenges for their market and stores
- Support and train Head Coaches to maintain and build community partnerships that drive applicant flow.
- Maintain and provide reporting over your market(s) as required
- Plan recurring recruiting events with strong partners that can be executed by the Area Leaders or Head Coaches
- Utilize employment branding to advocate for sweetgreen both digitally and physically, in the local talent community
- Conduct compensation analysis as needed for your market(s)
Seamless Execution
- Utilize our ATS system and any approved job boards for communication, scheduling and reporting purposes
- Ensure screening and interviewing practices are aligned with company policy and compliance laws
Education and Experience
- 2-3 years experience working in hourly recruitment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent Computer Skills - Google Suite / Excel / PPT
- Experienced in building business relationships with cross functional leadership
- Appreciates ambiguity and autonomy in an incredibly fast-paced environment.
- Brings creativity to the table when approaching the hiring strategy for your market
- Natural problem solver with a passion for creating simple solutions
- Ability to travel in market and out of market a minimum of 25% of the time.
