Who We Are

Williamson CPA PLLC is a startup CPA firm with a strong client base and rapidly expanding. We are looking for a Tax Director to manage tax operations and client satisfaction. This is an opportunity to take on the primary role in a new accounting practice striving to leverage innovation and automation to give more value to clients and provide meaningful work to our team members.

Duties

• Final review of business and individual tax returns.
• Performing tax projections and assisting with planning for clients.
• Hiring, supervision, and development of tax staff.
• Responsibility for key accuracy, client satisfaction, and profitability metrics.
• Collaboration with Owner/Partner and Operations Manager in refining the client engagement and tax return preparation processes.
• Review of tools and technology to constantly improve the accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and "review-ability" of tax returns.
• Developing and maintaining client relationships and ensuring overall client satisfaction.

Who You Are

• You have at least five years experience preparing, and supervising the preparation of, business, trust, and multi-state individual tax returns.
• You have demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State tax regulation for businesses, trusts & estates, and individuals.
• You have strong experience in training and supervising others in preparing tax returns.
• You enjoy public accounting and keeping up with changing tax regulations.
• You take pride in helping clients and providing exceptional service.
• You are a CPA or Enrolled Agent. (Will consider very strong candidates who are still working toward credentialing.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related field
• 5+ years experience in public accounting preparing individual tax returns.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and Oklahoma State income tax regulations

Your Skill Set

• Flexible and detail-oriented
• Experience with CCH Axcess Tax a plus
• Experience working in a digital workpaper and file storage environment
• Experience with practice management software (e.g. Karbon)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $88,400.00 - $145,600.00 per year
