Janover LLC is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our team of accounting professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare intermediate to complex individual, corporate and partnership returns
• Review basic individual, corporate and partnership returns
• Participate in planning and execution of engagements
• Manage multiple client assignments and projects
• Build relationships with clients and client personnel
• Correspond with client, Manager and/or Partner on work status and inquiries
• Research complex tax related matters
• Assist Manager and/or Partner to identify and mitigate risks
• Mentor and develop less experienced tax staff by providing on-going and regular feedback
• Participate in professional development seminars and deliver entry level training
• Assist with special projects as needed

Job Location: Garden City/Remote Classification: Exempt

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required; Master's degree in taxation or equivalent a plus
• 3+ years' of progressive experience in similar role
• CPA completed or working towards the CPA preferred
• Proficient technical knowledge in GAAP to Tax Differences', tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, consolidated federal tax returns, partnership returns, and combined state tax returns
• Ability to multi-task, work independently and in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of Practice Engine, Engagement CCH Axcess a plus
