Tax Supervisor – South Carolina

A leading South Carolina firm, founded in 1984, is looking to add on to their team a Tax Supervisor. This position deals directly with the partners, clients, and all level employees. Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:

As a Tax Supervisor, you will be expected to:

• Manage a group of clients and provide client services in the areas of individual and business taxation
• Manage project deadlines and plan appropriately with associates and senior associates
• Coordinate with the team members on all phases of the Tax engagement
• Review individual and business tax returns and provide timely and constructive feedback
• Provide high level client service
• Keep current on tax law changes and accounting related developments and best practices.
• Work with team members for continual process improvement
• Participate in practice development and various firm activities
• Develop an area of tax specialization

What we are looking for:

• BS Accounting (MACC preferred)
• CPA
• Six plus years’ experience in public accounting
• Experience with a variety of different type of tax returns
• Experience reviewing write-up work
• Good tax software skills
• Excellent Client service skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

• Florence, SC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Tax experience: 6 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPA (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
