Job description
St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in Aberdeen, Maryland is seeking candidates for full time elementary teaching positions for the 2023-2024 school year. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standards based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Course of Study
- Implement lesson plans utilizing a variety of techniques to motivate, challenge and engage students
- Provides regular and consistent communication with parents, students, staff and administration as outlined by the St. Joan of Arc Parent Handbook and Faculty/Staff Handbook.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff and administration to implement school wide STEM initiatives
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in education or other related field.
- Current MSDE certification or willingness to obtain
- Experience with integration of technology
- Basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals and objectives
