Overview:
The Department of Biological and Chemical Sciences combines the disciplines of Biology and Chemistry. Our Long Island campus has approximately 550 students majoring in biology, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, chemistry, and premed studies.

The initial appointment is for 2 years and begins September 2023, located in Long Island, NY (Old Westbury) campus.

Teaching 21 credit hours for the academic year of undergraduate courses in Organic Chemistry I & II (lecture and lab) and one or more advanced courses. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development, and other services to the department and university.
Qualifications:
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related field, and preferably have prior teaching experience in an undergraduate academic setting employing modern pedagogical strategies. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.

Minimum Salary: USD $75,500.00/Yr. Maximum Salary: USD $85,000.00/Yr.
